Next week is a big one if you ’re a sports fan of Ghostbusters . The main news , obviously , is the first new flick in over 25 geezerhood hitting theaters . What you may not know is there ’s a second film coming too . It ’s the rooter documentary Ghostheads , which will tally Netflix July 15 .
The infotainment , directed by Brendan Mertens , was fundedprimarily through gang - sourcingand premier earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival . It not only discusses the account of Ghostbusters , but plunge deep into Ghostbusters fandom , a recess that has n’t has a luminosity skin upon it until recently .
The moving-picture show features interviews with Dan Aykroyd , Ivan Reitman , Ernie Hudson , Paul Feig , and the timing of its public release , draw to the theatrical reboot , is no coincidence .
“ We ’d love people to go and see the reboot , and then , complain back with a nice frosty Ecto - Cooler and watch our movie at house so they can see how the film has bear on the life-time of so many , ” said manufacturer Lee Leshen . “ Who roll in the hay ? mayhap we ’ll help some mass find their own inside Ghosthead ! ”
