Bachelorette parties are escalating in extravagance, from pricey coordinated attire to extravagant getaways that demand time off work, leaving brides and bridesmaids pondering what constitutes appropriate planning for such events. And nowAlex Cooperis sharing her perspective on these over-the-top celebrations.

“If you are the b—- that is asking your f—— friends to go to Greece for your bachelorette, knock it off, knock it the f— off, okay,” theCall Her Daddypodcast host, 29, said on this week’s episode which was all about her recent bachelorette party. “Unless you are paying for every f—— thing, you got the plane, you got the tickets, you got the Airbnb.

She continued, “I don’t want to go to Greece and have to take off time off of work and pay out off the a—— to go to your f—— bachelorette.”

Since the podcast aired on Sunday, the clip of Cooper’s sentiments on bachelorette parties has gone viral onTikTok, amassing almost 4 million views. It has sparked public debate and prompted users to join the conversation. Immediately, many resonated with Cooper’s remarks.

“What happened to going to dinner and a club on a Sat night for a bachelorette party?” one user wrote on the Call Her Daddy TikTok post.

Another commenter stated, “Hot take: have your bachelorette wherever you want, but don’t expect all of your bridesmaids to commit to it and don’t expect them to pay for you.”

While some echoed Cooper’s sentiments about bachelorette parties becoming overly extravagant, others expressed enthusiasm for the trend. “Unpopular opinion but I’m always down for a trip 😂,” one person said.

“I would actually be so happy if my friend picked Greece over Nashville or something lol,” another person added.

During the podcast, Cooper also shared more about her bachelorette party, which took place at Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah in February.

She said the weekend trip consisted of three of her childhood friends and her. On the second day of the trip, they went skiing. “Everything they did for me I almost kept crying because it was so thoughtful,” she said during the episode.

She kicked off with a pair ofphotosof herself popping a champagne bottle — decorated with a picture of her future husband — while soaking in a hot tub. As she enjoyed the bubbly, she wore a bridal white bikini and cozy white earmuffs.

“Oh what a time 🤍,” she captioned the photos.

Asecond postfeatured a carousel of snaps showing Cooper and her friends palling around together as they had a meal and some drinks. In one shot, three of the women posed in white bathrobes while holding paper cutouts of Kaplan’s head over their faces.

“Life is good 🥹,” Cooper wrote.
