The U.S. impose sanction in July of last year effectively cutting Belarus off from most financial institutions , trade , and technology import and targeting Russian and Belarusian elite , including Putin and Lukashenko who were cut down off from their fiscal assets .

The law will be instated this week and will continue for two old age , end on December 31 , 2024 .
