A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin is an avid viewer of Breaking Bad , but could n’t help oneself butnote on his blogafter last weekend ’s episode“Ozymandias”that “ Walter White is a magnanimous monster than anyone in Westeros . ” His next thought ? “ ( I need to do something about that ) . ”

Holy hell . Given that the world of Westeros is chock full of sociopath for whom rape , thrall , torment and murder is wholly inconsequential ( or , in the case of Ramsay Snow , just a great bargain of fun ! ) the estimate that GRRM think Walter White is bad than any of his characters is a bold will to break Bad ’s depiction of a man ’s descent into evil .

Also , give the behemoth he ’s already created , I ’m having a hard time imagining what GRRM would think is “ bad . ” I mean , what else is there ? Other than maybe a dude who wear dead babies as slipper ?
