Well boy howdy , this trailer opens with a doozy : Peter Parker ( Tom Holland ) , still fatigue his Iron Spider uniform back home in New York as he stare upon a mural of Iron Man . “ Everywhere I go I see his face , ” Peter tells someone . “ I just … really miss him . ” So yes , as if you did n’t call for the substantiation : This movie is adjust in the five - years - late timeline established by Avengers : Endgame , and the invincible Iron Man is … well , not invincible . Before either we or Peter can get too aroused about multiversal shenanigans , however , Nick reminds the new hoagy that there ’s work to be done that require Spider - Man postponing his holiday : the rise of the aforesaid Elementals . We get a great shot of one of them emerging here , a watery golem that take in obvious parallels to the amusing book villain Hydro - Man . The first Far From Home poster confirmed locations in the film let in New York ( obviously ) , Venice , London , Prague , Berlin , and the Swiss Alps . So this is presumably Prague ?

Wherever it is , by the prison term Peter get there , he has another causa to fall apart : the SHIELD - revolutionise “ Stealth Suit . ” If this admit place after all the Venice hooey , then it ca-ca sense this would be a gift from Nick Fury , one that makes it a little less obvious that a Friendly Neighborhood Spider - Man just so happens to also be on holiday .

But when did MJ check it ? Other than the fact that Peter is literally horrible at keeping his personal identity a arcanum — I mean , wait , he ’s hanging out in that streak with Mysterio and neither of them have their case - obscuring fishbowls / masque on ! So , like she says , it ’s not that punishing to have put two and two together . But if ( and it ’s a big if , considering she ’s still in schooling alongside Peter and the rest of his friends and is n’t , well , in her former XX like she ’d be if she did n’t get snapped ) MJ was n’t around to realize Spider - Man did n’t show up after Peter Parker died in Infinity War , does she find out during this movie , or does she already recognise before they go on the trip somehow ?
