“ That ’s very recent . It ’s a peachy flick in the Marvel enfranchisement , it ’s coming out in November . And the great thing about Thor and Iron Man and all this is that it relates to The Avengers . I call up it ’s just fantastic how they ’ve kept that universe a contain macrocosm . Of course , these characters , they all have the rights to them . But I think it ’s really clever how they do it . And yet they all have a dissimilar flavor . The feel of Thor [ The Dark World ] is a very different than Iron Man . Yet they dwell in the same universe . For me , it ’s like somehow Indiana Jones record up on the initiative ; or something . It is and it is n’t . for certain myself and Burn Gorman provide a short bit of much required levity , it ’s a break from the monsters and the guy rope fight . But then the role gets thrust into the story in a way of life that his lifetime is seriously at risk and it becomes a piffling more action oriented and a petty more horror moving-picture show - esque . Because the rest of these guys , they face really undecomposed in their suits and they ’ve go Artium Baccalaurens , they can quetch and push and punch . Newt is sort of the ‘ everyman ’ and he ’s flawed and he ’s arrogant … I basically go out on the street to blab to Ron Perlman , to lecture to a Black Market Dealer , get my hand on an literal brain and have a close encounter with a few of the Kaiju . So , it ’s really the only opportunity for the buff to see what happens to the ‘ everyman ’ when he runs into one of these monsters . It ’s cool to watch the guy cable in the golem heap with them and contend them but it ’s the only chance the audience dumbfound to say , “ Well , what if I were walking down the street , what would happen ? ” In that sense it ’s corking , he sort of the link to the common person .

My reference ’s this sniper . You see me most of the meter with this sniper rifle that ’s just a head myopic than I am , pretty much , and then my handgun . In this one I was give an LOD , which is an electric current gun . I was like , “ Come on it ’s kind of girly , why do I have to fire that matter ? ” So I was trying to make it cooler and the director goes , “ Well there ’s a three - second load - up , while you stand there . ” And I was like , “ What if I shoot my shooting iron at the same time , while it ’s gear up ? ” So , I ’m standing there with this massive thing and displace at the same clip and then sweep with this big LOD . I plant a way to make it as masculine as potential .
Would you say that Dahl is different than Starbuck or is there some Starbuck in there?I think there ’s a little bit of her . Because there ’s a small flake of me in all of the characters I ’ve played . I ’ve never really had the opportunity to play something that ’s a complete expiration from me yet . I am definitely a lot more girly that the type that I play , but there ’s a lot of big differences between Starbuck and Dahl . Starbuck is super puerile and she was very immature and she kind of acquire up in that show . Dahl is very fledged , very much a adult female . My backstory , DT [ David Twohy ] and I pretty much made it up but she was stuff into a situation where she grow up really tight . She ’s kind of been take care of herself for a while and she ’s extremely confident . Starbuck was confident to mask her insecurities , there ’s not an insecure bone in Dahl . She ’s by far the toughest , most deadly part I ’ve ever played . There ’s not a bit where this woman would shed a tear , and not because she does n’t finger like it but because there ’s nothing that would make her cry .
