Darren Aronofsky will direct Michael Chabon’s HBO series about Magicians Vs. Hitler

Darren Aronofsky and Michael Chabon working together . Does n’t that just give you chill ? We ’re beyond activated about the recently harbinger tidings that Aronofsky will be directing the pilot of HBO series Hobgoblin , about magicians who fight Hitler !

The pilot program is being compose by Chabon and his wife , Ayelet Waldman . Varietyannounced the Chabon Aronofsky team up on the first episode , but is still being pretty wispy about the inside information .

Last we heard , the series was about “ a motley chemical group of conmen and sorcerer who use their skills at deception to battle Hitler and his force out during WWII . ” But still no reference if Jasper Maskelyne ( figure above ) and his “ wizard gang , ” are involved . He was a conjuror who use conjuring trick to fool the Germans ( such as using hocus-pocus to make tank disappear etc ) . We sure enough go for he ’s in the flick .
