Halloween Killswill slash its way onto Peacock on the same day it premieres in movie theaters.

The horror sequel, starringJamie Lee Curtisas Laurie Strode, will debut on Oct. 15.

Halloween Killsis a sequel to 2018’sHalloween. Both films are centered on Strode, who Curtis first played in 1978’s originalHalloween. She appeared as the character in severalHalloweenfilms before reprising her role in the 2018 film.

In June, the first full trailer forHalloween Killsdebuted online showing Strode trying to once and for all take down the masked and murderous Michael Myers.

Picking up immediately after the events of the 2018 film, the trailer showed how the serial killer survived a house fire to continue on his rampage.

Halloween Kills, also stars Judy Greer, Anthony Michael Hall and Andi Matichak.Kyle Richards(The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar), 52,reprises her role as a grown-up Lindsey Wallaceover four decades after the first movie.

The horror filmwas delayed due to the pandemic. The next entry, titledHalloween Ends,is expected to debut in 2022.

Curtis praised writer/director David Gordon Green and co-writer Danny McBride on Instagram for crafting “an intense and brutal second wave of their masterpiece HALLOWEEN 2018.”

“Another brilliant chapter in the ultimate story of good vs evil, Laurie vs Michael,” she added. “Happy Halloween. See you ALL in THEATERS in October!”

Halloween Killswill debut in theaters and on Peacock on Oct. 15.
