King Charlesis on the mend.
The King, 75, greeted well-wishers outside St. Mary Magdalene Church near Sandringham on Sunday with a cheery wave as he was seen for the first time sinceleaving the hospitallast Monday.

While King Charles has largely been out of sight due to his condition — which was first revealed on Jan. 17 — Queen Camilla, 76, has beencarrying out a series of soloroyal engagements.
The couple’s appearance came as it was also revealed in U.K. newspaperThe Sunday Timesthat King Charles has appointed a new assistant equerry, Capt. Kat Anderson, 33. The former Royal Artillery officer is the first woman to serve a British monarch in the key role and will be King Charles' assistant focusing on foreign trips.
Queen Elizabethdied at Balmoral Castlein Scotland in September 2022, and King Charles immediately acceded to the throne.

While King Charles is recovering,Kate Middleton, 42, is also recuperating from herplanned abdominal surgery, carried out at the same London hospital as her father-in-law, at her Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor.
The Princess of Wales has not been seen in public since her operation nearly three weeks ago and isn’t expected to be back on royal duty until after Easter.
