“I’m very excited to finally be done,” the 19-year-old student andmodelsaid in the third installment of herYouTube series, where she’s sharing her health journey after having emergency surgery last October to remove a largemedulloblastoma—a type of malignant tumor— in her cerebellum.

“It’s been a long six weeks and I’m very happy to finally heal my head after all of this because the side effects and everything get to you,” she admitted.

In the video, Isabella documented her final day of radiation at the New York Proton Center. Staff members and her family cheered with congratulatory signs after she completed the treatment.

Isabella was in tears as she hugged her father and twin sisterSophiabefore cheerfully ringing the bell. “So excited to ring that bell… Never thought I’d be ringing the bell,” she said.

During theGMAsegment, the college student opened up about learning about her condition in late October 2023, and undergoing emergency surgery at Cedars-Sinai to remove the brain tumor on Oct. 27, a day before her 19th birthday.

“I’m feeling good. Not too bad,” said Isabella, who will start chemotherapy at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina, next month. “That’s my next step. I’m ready for it to start and be one day closer to being over. …. I’m very excited for this whole process to wrap. But you just have to keep living every day, I think, through the whole thing.”

Inher first vlog, Isabella said that her health battle has been challenging and she doesn’t feel like herself after treatment, but her perspective has ultimately changed from the experience.

“I just had aSephora ad come outthat I shot in May 2023. So it’s super exciting but I remember being so excited to go to the store and take a selfie with it and I can’t do that right now because I don’t really feel like myself or that person in the ad,” she admitted.

“These past two months, it’s been rough,” she continued. “It’s been challenging and it’s been very hard but I know I’ll get through it. I know time will heal and things will get back to being — I can’t really say normal because there’s not really normal now in my life, but things will get back to being calmer.”

As she continues to recover, Isabella thanked her loved ones for their support and kindness, sharing how she learned that “the little things” don’t really matter in life.

“I just hope anyone who sees this knows that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that things will get better because every day is another day closer to getting better and closer to feeling better,” she said. “Progress takes a lot of time… try to see the positive things.”
