The Olsen twins officially retired from acting in 2012, and have kept a rather low profile since, focusing on their fashion empire.

In aninterview withWSJ. Magazinelast year, they opened up about their relationship as twin sisters and business partners. They compared it to “marriage” saying it took years for them to learn how to effectively communicate with one another.

They also gave subtle insight into the reasoning behind their privacy — which manifests in their business approach, steering them away from being “product pushers.”

“I don’t know if it’s because of the way we grew up — we just don’t like talking about ourselves or talking about what we’re doing,” Ashley toldWSJ. “It’s not really our approach.”

Although fans won’t be seeing them on-screen in any new movies or series — they also declined to join the Tanner family reunion on Netflix seriesFuller House —they can enjoy a trip down memory lane starting May 1, on Hulu.
