Sofia Richieis sharing a special memory!
In the clip, Richie stood next to Grainge, 30, in their backyard. “Ready?” she asked her husband, who was holding a confetti popper.
Richie then counted down from three for Grainge, who let go of the popper, releasing pink smoke and confetti into the air. Richie’s immediate reaction was to scream at the top of her lungs and run around her yard excitedly.
Her scream, plus the noise from the popper, scared her Golden Retriever, who moved from their spot watching the festivities to the grass closer to the couple.
“Sorry to all my neighbors for the horrifying scream 😅,” Richie joked in the caption of the video.
Once Richie calmed down, she moved closer to Grainge, whose reaction to finding out he is going to have a daughter was to stand still with his hand over his mouth.
“I’m so excited!” Ritchie said, giving her husband a big hug.
When Richiefirst revealed her pregnancyin aVogueinterview published on Thursday, she reflected on the moment seen in Sunday’s TikTok video.
“She left out the one with the correct color inside, and Elliot and I popped it together. We both really thought it was a boy, so it was a true shock. My dream in life is to have a daughter [though], and Elliot is really excited for a girl too.”

“I think it’s so typical for boys to want boys, but he has a lot of sisters,” she said.
